Hi, I’m Dan and I created Skateboarders Hub to help other people like me!
If you’ve ever felt lost or overwhelmed, or just wanted more niche information that isn’t always as easy to find online then this is probably the site for you.
Why didn’t you just ask someone?
You see I’ve always been somewhat solitary, and when I got back into skating again for the first time in 13 years I was completely alone.
Most of my friends had stopped skating, and I just wanted to get back out there.
The thing is that a 30 year olds body is a lot different…
I’d been working behind a desk for the best part of 10 years, and I’d just got to the point where my body had seized up, got unfit, subsequently I got fat because of that.
So here I was a 30 year old learning to skate again, with all these problems.
I had to learn about skateboarding training, and even managed to cure my plantar fasciitis doing so…
All I knew before I did that was that I didn’t want to spend my life sat behind a desk, I wanted to be outside experiencing life, and ideally skating wherever I could.
So this site is for people like me, who just want to skate.
For people who maybe don’t have access to all the information they need, and don’t want to be and don’t deserve to be held back by that.
Most importantly I’m not reinventing the wheel, I’m just covering the bits that aren’t as widely talked about.
SkateboardersHub is about you just as much as it’s about me.
